Welcome to the official site of the Northern Games Society, a non-profit organization headquartered in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada that helps to keep the Inuit (Inuvialuit) traditions of celebration, gathering, and sharing alive through the eponymous Northern Games.
This site contains information about the traditional Northern Games such as the contests, events and rules, statistics from previous Games such as results and records as well as information regarding upcoming Games.

Upcoming Games
The 40th Annual Northern Games will be held in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada from August 6 - 9, 2009.
The 2009 Northern Games will be a big event and maximum participation is expected. The schedule of events is available under the documents and forms section.
Volunteers and sponsors
The Northern Games is a true community event that is successful because of the help and commitment of all the volunteers and sponsors. Many volunteers and sponsors were past participants and their commitment ensures that the traditions and culture are passed on to our posterity.
